Our story

Ten years of December 31sts.

Our first New Year's Eve was a borrowed tuxedo and a dress from a friend's closet. Ten of them later, we are getting married at a quarter to midnight, with the people who kept us out late.

Good to know

How formal is black tie?

Tuxedos, floor-length gowns, and anything you would wear to the opera. Sequins are encouraged after midnight.

Is there parking?

Valet at the Michigan Avenue entrance from 9:30. The hotel garage is next door.

Will it really go past midnight?

The ceremony ends at midnight and dinner starts after. Plan on being out until at least two.
