Our story

Two headlamps, one trail, no map.

We met at a trailhead at four in the morning, both of us wrong about the route. Five summers later we are getting married above the treeline, with the people who hiked in behind us.

Good to know

What should I wear?

Mountain formal - suits and long dresses with real shoes. It is warm at four and cold by seven; bring a wrap or a jacket.

How do we get up there?

The chairlift runs from three; it is a ten-minute walk from the top. Anyone who would rather not ride can take the lodge shuttle.
