About Olivia Layne Studios
Olivia Layne is a graduate of the New England School of Photography and has been photographing weddings since 2010.
Fifteen seasons in, she still shoots the way she learned to: in natural light, with real sound, without a parade of poses. The studio photographs and films weddings the way you will want to remember them. Our photographers lean editorial and unhurried; our filmmakers cut to your own vows and toasts rather than a stock soundtrack. Every collection is led by senior shooters who work weddings every week. Travel is included nationwide, pricing is published, and the calendar is kept

Frequently asked questions
Answered by Olivia Layne Studios
Is the engagement session included?
It is complimentary with every Photography & Film collection. If you book photography or film on its own, you can add a one-hour engagement session at checkout for $200.
How far out should we book?
Most couples reserve 9–18 months ahead; peak Saturdays go first. A signed agreement holds the date — an inquiry alone does not.
Photo, film, or both?
Both, if the budget allows — they answer different questions. Photographs hold the details; film holds the voices. Our combined collections are priced to make choosing both the easy call, and they are the only ones with a complimentary engagement session.
How many images do we get?
A full wedding typically delivers several hundred fully edited images — every keeper, not a teaser set — in a private online gallery you can download and share. You own the files.
When is everything delivered?
Sneak peeks within days; complete galleries and films on the date written in your agreement. We hit our dates.
Planning a wedding photographer in Dallas-Fort Worth
How much does a wedding photographer cost in Dallas-Fort Worth?
Most couples in Dallas-Fort Worth budget between $1,500 and $3,500 for wedding photography. Packages at the lower end typically cover 6–8 hours with one shooter; higher tiers add a second shooter, engagement sessions, and albums. Always confirm exactly how many hours and edited images are included.
When should we book our wedding photographer?
Photographers with strong reputations are commonly booked 9–14 months ahead — earlier for peak-season Saturdays. If your date is inside six months, ask about waitlists and cancellations; openings do appear.
What should we ask before booking?
Ask to see two full galleries from real weddings (not highlight reels), confirm who will actually shoot your wedding, and get delivery timelines and image counts in the contract.
How does Lazo rank wedding photographers in Dallas-Fort Worth?
Rankings come from the Lazo Score — verified reviews weighted for recency — and are never sold. Vendors without verified reviews yet start at the community baseline of 65 and earn their score as verified reviews arrive.
