- Three to four hours is standard even for a twenty-minute journey, and the clock often starts at the depot.
- Vehicle type
- A sedan, a stretch limousine, a vintage car and a 40-seat coach are four different prices for the same twenty minutes.
- Number of runs
- A shuttle doing three loops is priced very differently from one doing a single transfer.
- Late-night returns
- The end-of-night run is where most couples add cost, and it is usually the one guests most need.
- Peak Saturdays
- Prom season and peak wedding Saturdays genuinely sell out the local fleet.
- Gratuity
- Frequently added automatically at 18-20%.
How to spend less without regretting it
- Shuttle guests, not yourselves
- If you have to choose, moving guests safely matters more than arriving in something photogenic.
- Run loops instead of one big coach
- A smaller vehicle doing three trips often costs less than a coach doing one, and starts the party earlier for whoever is on it.
- Skip the getaway car
- It is a lovely photograph and a full hourly minimum.
- Use a rideshare arrangement for the late run
- Some venues and hotels will coordinate a rideshare code instead of a contracted late shuttle.
When to book
Four to eight months out, and earlier for peak Saturdays or if you need a specific vintage vehicle - most operators own only one.
