How do I know if an officiant is legally able to marry us?
Ask directly whether they are authorised in your specific county, since requirements vary by state and sometimes by county. Confirm who files the signed licence and by what deadline - it is the one part of a wedding that cannot be corrected later.
Can an officiant include our cultural traditions?
